The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Non-Restricted) consists of two parts. One is classroom instruction. The other is learning the student handbook material. This is an introductory firearm safety course intended for all new firearms users.  The course is designed to assist you in developing the knowledge and the skills to handle firearms safely. (10 Hours) By completing this course, you will learn how the do the following: 1. Handle firearms and ammunition safely. 2. Use firearms and ammunition safely. 3. Comply with firearms laws. 4. Store Non- Restricted firearms and ammunition safely. 5. Display Non- Restricted firearms and ammunition safely. 6. Transport Non- Restricted firearms and ammunition safely.    There will be both written and practical examinations. Passing them will demonstrate the knowledge and skills you gained from the course.  Students must pass successfully the Canadian Firearms Safety examination to apply for a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).

Students must provide identification issued by a government agency e.g. drivers license, ( IT MUST BE PHOTO ID). For Safety reasons, NO student is permitted to bring any firearm or ammunition to the classroom. Deactivated Firearms and dummy ammunition are provided by the instructor. Students MUST arrive on time and Full Attendance is required. Course Fee: $150 Examination Fee: $60 Total Fee: $210
